A Rebuilding Campaign

There is a genuine opportunity at the BBHC to iIlluminate area history, enhance the community, and strengthen local connections through inspirational education. The current site - and the rich history it represents - provides an exciting platform for an expanded artifact collection, including state-of-the-art immersive exhibits and interactive education technology. As this expansion campaign gets underway the BBHC Board of Directors welcomes the support and participation of anyone interested in preserving this vital piece of Pennsylvania and American history. Please contact us to get involved!

Support the Vision

Our goal is two-fold: First - Honor the History - the events that took place on this hill overlooking the Monongahela and their impact on world history deserve a modern world-class visitor experience. Second - be a leader in Community Redevelopment - the multi-use community space can be a 4-acre centerpiece of redevelopment in the heart of North Braddock for public events and leisure.

The IMPACT Committee

The Board of Directors is planning to open a reinterpreted BBHC and multi-use community space within 3-5 years. There are multiple developmental fronts on the way to that goal and the Board needs help from anyone who believes in keeping this vital history alive. The Board seeks representatives who can help influence awareness, fundraising, and support in a variety of ways, to join together in this staff-led Committee to help move the project forward. We are looking for people from community groups, educators, the arts, local businesses, government and non-profit organizations. In the end, we are very much looking for active community involvement in shaping the future of the BBHC.
